Abstractions : The films of Jon Behrens
I will be screening a program of my films at the world famous Scarecrow Video in their screening room. These are films I made in the 80’s, 90’s and the 2000’s and here in the teens along with new works from 2016 and brand new works for 2017.
Jon Behrens is a Seattle based filmmaker, film programmer, photographer, sound manipulator and teacher. His films have been screened through out the world and has been active in the Experimental and avant garde film movement since the early 1980’s.

My friends from EXcinema asked me if I would curate a program of films for their monthly EXcinema program. So I put together this screening of films by my Friends Phil Solomon, Caryn Cline, Joel Schlemowitz, Pam Minty, Eric Ostrowski, Brian Wilson, Louise Burque, Steve Demas. and a collaboration between Stan Brakhage and Phil Solomon . should be a wonderful evening of beautiful cinema.
