January 2019 Lightpress grants announced

We are happy to announce the next round of Lightpress grant recipients . These fine filmmakers will each receive a three hour block of time to have high quality 2K and 4K scans of their 16 and 35mm films. These grants are giving out twice a year, January and July.

About Jon Behrens

Jon Behrens is a Seattle based filmmaker/composer. His films have been screened at film festivals, colleges and museums through out the world since the early 1980's. His work ranges from personal film diaries to abstract hand painted optically printed works. In addition to filmmaking Jon Behrens is also a composer and has created sound designs for most of his own films starting about 10 years ago, as well as non film related compositions.

I am so very appreciative of this grant for my doc OUR NEIGHBORHOOD. Thank you ICS and Lightpress. And I hope you do not mind my correcting the spelling of my last name, which is Fein! Abrazos and Happy New Year.
